Check for the 925 Stamp
Genuine sterling silver is stamped with "925" somewhere on the piece, usually on the inside of a ring band or the clasp of a bracelet or necklace. This stamp indicates 92.5% pure silver alloyed with other metals for strength.
Look at the Finish
Real sterling silver has a bright, slightly cool-toned shine. Rhodium plating (used on many of our pieces) adds extra shine and tarnish resistance without changing the underlying metal.
Ask for a Certificate
